It is a cosy and friendly corner restaurant in Prater that offers a wide range of European and traditional Austrian foods. Since we are only interested in burgers, its menu includes three different burgers such as Hütterlburger, Italoburger and Greekburger.
It was a nice and warm day in October. The name “Hütterl” (small hut) fits perfectly to it’s description. They offer tables with service inside and even more outside as well as self service for food and drinks. They have only a small kitchen but deliver a lot of different dishes.
Cook and waiters had a lot work to do. Even if we had to wait very long for our dishes, we still enjoyed the atmosphere as it was very positive. The service was very friendly an is probably much faster when there are less customers in the restaurant as happened to be there during our visit.
All three burgers are home-made, fresh and served with french-fries, sauce and salad.
The Hütterlburger is huge, you need to be very hungry to finish it and it is out of beaf, salad, tomato, cucumber, bacon, cheese, onion, home-made with a sesame loaf. I really liked the exactly good cooked potatoes because in many places I hate to suffer french-fries swimming in fat. So, here it was really good.
The burger tasted me like a self-made burger, fresh and healthy. Altogether, it was a very big portion, even I liked it a lot I could not finish it and when I am there next time, I want to try the other types of burgers instead of other food alternatives in the menu.
