Ingredients for 4 people
4 pieces open sea salmon
2 eggs
4-5 pickled gherkins
4 leaves of lettuce
2 red onions
5-6 leaves of fresh basil
1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon of salt and pepper
Sunflower oil for the fry pan
4 pieces hamburger breads
Put the breadcrumbs, onion, basil, salt, pepper and salmon in a food processor and whizz until they evenly mixed.
Add the egg and whisk again.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape into burgers.
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and cook the burgers.
Lastly place the burgers between slices of bread and serve with caramelized onions and lettuce.
