Ingredients for 12 pieces
2 egg yolks 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 500 gr mascarpone cheese 4 full tablespoon raw sugar 2 packs ladyfingers 200 ml espresso (in room temperature) 200 ml milk 2 tablespoon flour 3 tablespoon cacao or 50gr grated dark chocolate Put the egg yolks, milk, sugar, flour to a saucepan, mix well. Then put it on the stove and cook. Stir while cooking and make sure it is well mixed and creamy. When it is ready, put it aside. Add mascarpone and vanilla extract. Stir it again well. Then let the mixture to rest till it cools down to room temperature. Our cream is ready! While the cream is cooling, place the ladyfingers biscuits side by side in a small square baking tray by soaking them with coffee. Add half of the cream on the ladyfingers biscuits and then add another layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers biscuits. Add the last remaining cream and smooth the top.Strain the cocoa or grated dark chocolate on top and rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. The more it rests, the better it tastes. After cooling and resting, slice and serve. Enjoy!
